"Fresh Steps" 7:00 p.m
We cordially invite you to attend our Wednesday night Bible study entitled “Fresh Steps”. This is an intimate small group study of the Bible that is both practical and serves as an interactive time of learning. We encourage relationship building while we engage the dynamic truths contained in God’s Word.
We are currently engaged in a survey of the Bible entitled, Training for Service. This study is designed to motivate believers to make a deeper commitment to serve the Lord to the best of their abilities and talents. We welcome you to take “fresh steps” with us.
“Worship celebrates God’s great acts of salvation. During worship God communicates to the worshipers His salvation and healing, to which the people respond with faith, praise, prayer, thanksgiving, and a life of service in the world.” At Unity Christian Church International we believe that worship should be a life changing experience that celebrates the activity of Christ working in our lives. Worship should not be looked upon as a religious activity, but rather an experience where we set an atmosphere that glorifies God, edifies and equips the believer, and embraces the seeker. But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His wonderful light (1 Peter 2:9, NKJV).
A Place of Study that leads to Purpose
The study of God’s Word should lead the believer to the understanding and fulfillment of God’s holy purposes for their life. Unity Christian Church International is dedicated to examining Biblical truths and sharing the good news of God’s Grace, Salvation, Eternal Life and Prayer. Each week our Pastor, Terry D. Henderson, shares profound & spiritual insights from the Word of God through preaching on Sunday mornings and teaching at Wednesday night Bible study. Our Bible study is both spiritually sound and practical for the enhancement of your life. For it is in God’s Word that one first learns to follow Christ and become His disciple. Secondly, one learns how to apply the word of God to their everyday life. Unity is a place where “the preaching of the Gospel always contains teaching, and teaching always contains the preaching of the Gospel.” The earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea (Habakkuk 2:14, NRSV).
A Place of Fellowship, Love and Caring
It is impossible to be a representation of God without love and without showing true love. Many people live unfulfilled lives because of an absence of love. At Unity Christian Church International we seek to be the embodiment of Christ-like love in the midst of a hurting world. God has a specific plan for your life and a purpose for you to fulfill. Unity seeks to walk with you as you discover that purpose. To make this a reality, we have developed a Family Care Ministry in which everyone who joins our church family feels connected and valued. We know love by this, that He laid down His life for us – and we ought to lay down our lives for one another (1 John 3:16, NRSV).
